Default Anyone smoked lights with Lamin-X?

Has anyone used the Lamin-X kit to smoke out their tail lights? Curious about how well the tint is cut and if the tail lights are removed to install. Does the tint wrap around adequately so it won't come off?

I'd like to see some DIYer installations of products like this. I have a hard enough time applying a non-adhesive backed screen protector to a smartphone or tablet.

How hard is applying adhesive backed protection without air bubbles to a headlight going to be?

those are easy to install. I dont know the price of them but you might be able to get get a local tint shop to apply and cut one for you for cheaper.

The lamin-x kit for tail lights is $60, a local shop wanted $150. I may give it a shot myself

$150 really? That might be to spray them. I got all my windows tinted for $130. I dont see applying a small thing of tint to cost more. I sprayed my tails myself for the cost of the can and that was only around $5.

I wouldn't personally mess with tint on tail lights. Have em' sprayed, they'll look better and last longer. As the saying goes, "you get what........."
