sad, but at least on the looks & visual side of the equation 22's will be a decent alternative to fill
those cavernous wheel wells

but eibachs totally transformed the look & ride on my 03 honda accord v6...was really looking forward to pushing my DD harder around corners and bends...

Unfortunately this project has been cancelled. We have found that when lowering these vehicles on the OEM shocks, there is not a proper amount of travel in the rear suspension. This was leading to premature wear and poor ride quality. After many attempts this project was cancelled by our R&D Dept.

If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us directly at any time.

Thank you.

Different size and weight vehicle plus the same issue how do we know if we will see any kind of drop on a R/T?

Do you mean the SRT jeep springs or Eibach springs for the JGC? Scott, how is the ride height of your new SRT JGC compared to your Durango? Do you think it is lower or comparable to the height of a stock Durango RT? Does your SRT have load leveling springs? Thanks, and sorry for all the questions...just curious.

nevermind...I want a drop even more now, the 22's look great but the gap in the wheel wells are just too much...a small drop would make her...PERFECT

Weights for Jeep GC SRT and the Durango R/T (RWD & AWD)
Model | Engine | GVWR | Curb Weight | Payload | Weight Distribution (F/R)
SRT8 | 6.4-liter | 6,500 | 5,150 | 1,350 | 54/46
RWD R/T | 5.7-liter | 7100 | 5133 | 1340 | 51/49
AWD R/T | 5.7-liter | 7100 | 5331 | 1340 | 52/48

Looks like the SRT springs will not work on the R/T the Weight Distribution is to far off to make it work. The only good thing from these stats is the Durango is pretty even F/R.

BUT...from my research with the help of justforjeeps we never found ANY difference in the springs from GC to Rango. The only thing you need is the non-load leveling rear shocks. Someonbe should atleast TRY the GC Eibachs springs. If they dont work you could always sell them to a GC owner. Its only 4 bolts to drop the springs out on the rear.

I mean the NONSRT GC eibachs. My GC SRT is a lot lower than my Durango and was before I added the SRT Eibachs. My SRT does not have load leveling anything. With my SRTEibachs I am at 30 1/2" in the front and 31 1/2' in the rear.
