Default TailLight Removal

My 2011 Durango came without wiring to the liftgate switch just inside the left taillight. I'm hoping the wiring is just hanging behind the taillight, but I can't quite figure out how to get the taillight out. I removed the two pins at the rear, but with gentle pulling didn't want to come out. See picture. Can someone tell me what needs to be done? Pictures if possible.
Hope my picture comes through as I've not done this before.

After removing the two pins you just really need to pull hard. may help if you try wiggling it up and down but it will come.

Thanks. I'll give that a try. I'm assuming straight back and not to the side??

As mentioned above, remove the pins by prying out the center section:

Then after the pins are out, pull the taillight assembly STRAIGHT back. : )

.

I had mine out about a week ago; after you get the 2 pins out you have to pull to the rear really hard. I couldn't do it so got a small tool with a "L" shaped hook and pulled really hard and it came right out.

OK, got it out, but no extra wiring behind it and no access into the interior wiring. I'll start a new thread. Thanks to all for your help.
