Default Looking for alternate mounting Stampede bug deflector

I ended up purchasing a Stampede 2262-8 bug deflector, which came with steel screws to hold it on. Has anybody ever mounted one of these using an alternate method, such as nylon screws or nylon inserts? I'm just concerned about the potential for rust forming if I use the steel screws that came with it.

I have never mounted this, but the hood is aluminum. I really am not sure that the screws will hold really well to an aluminum hood.
