New RT owner
Contact dodge I opened a case and I'm trying to get mine as well since it was missing
I have another question for you guys. When I picked up the car I asked the dea... ler where the trunk cover was (that shutter like thingy that goes from the seats to the back of the car) and they told me it's an accessory or optional. So now every time I open the trunk I can't see how they wouldn't have it from factory with that. Can someone shed some light on this.
Thanks in advance.

Would love to know the outcome. I didn't have one either. I'm pretty sure it doesn't come with the truck. From Dodge they're like $400!!! I said no thank you and left. It also only works behind the third row supposedly.
It seems it comes with the crew and citidel? I can understand the citidel but the crew and not the RT?
The cover actually extends to either length when the 3rd row is up or down. Look at the trunk there's mounting notches for both configurations.
Oh and BTW, My dealer quoted me 150ish. Long story short we drove 180miles (one way) with two young kids to this dealer because they had the only fully loaded White/blk RT within a 250mile area and gave me great deal on my trade in sight unseen.
They also told me the car was *BRAND NEW* with 5-6miles on it, I got there and it was a dealer car with 2600miles!!!! That's when the wife stepped in.....lol.
That may be why they quoted me cost on the cover. So if anyone wants the contact info of that dealer to see if they can order the cargo cover and have it shipped just send me a pm.
In the meantime we have a case opened with Dodge because of our New but slightly broken in car. And before everyone thinks we're just bitching at nothing we have found several minor items either missing or with signs of use.... missing push to start button, missing oil pan access cover, third row pull cord grommet broken off (which I found in the cup holder), 19" scratch on the bottom of the driver's side passenger door sill.
We are extremely happy with the car selection but all in all the dealer shouldn't have told me when I asked how many miles on it....oh sir the car is brand new zero miles other than on and off the transporter. In my head that's 5-10miles tops 40 for all the test drives.
I'll keep you guys posted on the outcome. The wife wants a new one delivered in replacement!

Get on that reverse hid kit!
Congrats on your purchase.
I think HID reverse lights sound like a horrible idea. Real HID takes a while to get to full brightness, which is why they don't use them in high beams. Do you sit there to let them get bright before backing up? I don't want to have to wait to back up. Brighter bulbs or LED is a much more appropriate product for instant light.
