I am going to be switching my factory speakers to focals front/back with a Sundown Audio Amp. I will also be adding 2 Solobaric 12L7s behind the 3rd row seat. I will be keeping the factory radio (for the stealth factor when theives look in). I would like to know what the color code is on the wires on the back of the radio so I can tap into the factory wiring.

I searched with no luck, that is why I posted. I even searched your posts and could not find where you posted the list of stereo wire codes for the 2011-2012 Durango.

If you have the 9 speaker system i would recommend taking the signal after the factory amp. If you go before the factory amp there isnt enough signal.

Be sure you know what you are testing when installing there is another member on here that taped into the wrong wire and fried out the win module while installing an amp.

 

I do not have the Alpine system with sub and amplifier, I only have 6 speakers. I did not want to pay for the nice radio knowing I would be changing it out.
