Did the DVD player come with the wires long enough to connect to the front unit? Also I read somewhere that the new units don't come with an output to connect to the front unit.

Thumbs up

Great job man, looks great and great instructions too. Was always concerned about the AC controls thats why I never added a DVD mount.

I attached an ipad mount to my headrest that the kids use instead and a long cable to aux of radio for sound, not pretty but functional. But now thanks to you, thinking about it I do think the three boys would prefer the player in there and the controls will get more use at the bottom of my toolbox too.

I just need to block this darn site, its costing me way too much money

I think there should be some kind of huge banner display before we can click on a durango mod link that says

"WARNING, MAY COST YOU MONEY IF YOU CLICK HERE"

Excuse my ignorance, but why do you need a FRONT camera?

Nice job on the radar install. I wanted to get the same mount from Escort, but i have the Citadel model with the huge sensor for the auto hight beams. I have the 8500 X50 and SC55 so it may have been to bulky anyway.

Well done!!

Well I ran into trouble with the Lockpick a few months ago. Caused the whole system to shut off and would not turn back on until I removed the lockpick. I called their support and was told there was nothing wrong that the lockpick builds up errors over time and shuts down. WTF. Unplugging it and plugging back in fixed it for a few weeks then it did it again. I had to remove it. Been too busy with other stuff to fix it or get a new one but without the lockpick the dvd player and front camera do not work as I get power from the lockpick. Maybe the new lockpick will work better.
