Tow/Haul Button
We finally took delivery of our Molten Red V6 Crew yesterday, and I was surprised to not see a Tow/Haul button in the console. We do have the factory tow package, but it turns out only the Hemi equipped Durangos with the factory tow package get the Tow/Haul button.
So I'm wondering if the V6 still has the software in the PCM for the Tow/Haul mode, and just no button to turn it on?
Does anyone have the Hemi with a tow package, and have this tow/haul button? If so, I would be really interested to know where the button's wires run off to, and if there's an indicator of some sort which illuminates when it's pressed. (ie: something in the DIC to signify tow/haul mode is active)
Or, any techs in the forum who have access to the service manual and can look up the wire harness diagram to see where the Tow/Haul button wires terminate?
I'm wondering if I can just get the button and run the wires myself. If the software is in the PCM for the tranni mode, then it's just a matter of devising a way to switch it on.

Thanks. Chrysler confirmed for me my vehicle's systems do not have the Tow/Haul mode software loaded into the PCM, so I would not be able to install the button and have access to the mode.
