Dual Zone Climate Control Issue
I have a 2012 Citadel and the dual zone climate control has a temp difference between the passenger and driver when set on auto. I normally have it set at 75and on auto. The drivers side always feels cooler and to get both sides to match there has to be 2 degree difference. Its annoying since it is meant to be an automatic system.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any way to calibrate the system? All the other functions seem to work as they should.

What do you mean when you say to get both sides to match there has to be a 2 degree difference? Once you press the Auto button then set the temperature for each side that should be it. Are you saying that when you set both sides on the same temp it does not feel the same on both sides but if you set it 2 degrees apart it does feel the same?
Ajax,

Sorry for the confusion, i'm saying that when both sides are set the same they feel different. To get them to feel the same there needs to be a two degree difference.
I park in a garage so that eliminates one side being warmer due to sunlight.
Any idea of where the temperature sensors are located?
IMO dual climate control is only good at where the temp is taken. Its also just a marketing trick.. once its out of the duct work air mixes. just like you can take a temp of the air on your right arm in a box and your left arm and have different readings.

Ajax,
I will try and find out where the sensors are located. I am sure there are other factors involved. I will see what I can find out and post it back.

Ajax,
The only thing I could find on your issue involved the sun sensor. Not sure if 2 degrees is within the tolerance or not but here is the tech tip posted below.

Tech Tip Part Description: Sun Sensor
Tech Tip Description: Multi zone Auto Climate Control systems. Left and right outlet temperatures do not match when system is in "sync" . Occupants will experience being cold ( winter time), on either passenger or driver side, even though the temperature setting is the same. Root cause: Suspect sun senors ( PN 55111274AA and 55111275AA). THERE WILL BE NO DTC FOR THE SUN SENSOR active or stored. The issue is diagnosed by using an INCANDESCENT ( not LED) shop lamp. Shine the shop lamp on the left side of the sensor, then on the right side of the sensor, while monitoring sensor output with STARSCAN. The reading should change from 0 (or near zero) to about 20 to 40. The important thing is that the left and right readings are the same, and that they change when the lamp is shone on it.
My 2012 RT just started this last week....in my case it is a 6 degree setting difference before the air feels the same. If both are set at 70, the driver side is ice cold and the pass side is hot. When first started, the system is matched pretty well, but this seems to occur after 15 min or so of use. The rear seems to do whatever the pass side does. I am bringing it in for oil change Friday, so I am happy to have something to help.

Mine is exactly opposite, the driver vents blow out warm air, while the passenger vents blow out cold air. I need to get my friends FLR scope to tell the actual difference, but its significant.
It does seem to correct after I drive a bit, shut off the vehicle and restart. simply shutting off the system and restarting doesnt seem to make a difference.
Where is the Sun Sensor they refer to in the Tech Bulletin?

In my original post I mentioned the difference from the driver to passenger side temps was 2 degrees, it was actually more like 4.
I had the sun sensor replaced under warranty and that appears to have resolved the problem.
