very nice... looked into the explorer, third row headroom wasnt quite as good, V6 only, the my touch system is a touch and go situation, i know people who have cars with it that have zero issues and others who have had their trucks in the shop 5+ times. Overall i'd take the R/T 8 days a week!

I considered the Explorer but I wasn't totally sold on the looks and it was a bit to gadgety (if thats not a word, it should be) for my tastes.

I absolutely hate everything about the complete ford linup EXEPT the mustang. That said. I was extremely comfortable in the F-150 I just can't stand the way they look. The back window quarter looks just like the new benzo ML which is ugly too. I like the look of the fords back in the 2001 era but after that to me they went south.

I looked at the Explorers also but somehow I don't get the vibe unlike the Durango which really appealed to me at first sight. Didn't like the sitting position in the Explorer, the new MFT still has lag time and you have to spend a bit of time to learn its function. The front leather seats especially in the driver's side is off poor quality after several usage it looks pretty worn down. Handling and ride on the Durango feels better....the Explorer seems stiff.

Overall the Ford Explorer styling looks like a glorified minivan imo, I just liked the Durango's execution better. I'm sure Dodge will soon incorporate its 8 spd tranny and possibly put a direct injection, multi-air assist to its V6 powerplant to trump Ford's V6 ecoboost.

Durango hands down looks better. Much more aggressive.

By the way, I was able to see a a maximum steel in person at the dealership the other day while taking my wife's T&C in for an oil change. Great looking color especially in person. Pics don't do that color justice.

Agreed... I absolutely love it, looked at the gray and red prior to seeing this color in person and was immediately sold on the color! How do u think some black 22's will look with it?
