Check your Durango- Output shaft seal leak
I noticed a few drops of fluid on the garage floor, and looked underneath to find a leaking output shaft seal at the end of the tranny. Took it in and the dealer had to order a kit, which included a new seal, new shaft, and new shaft bolt. Tech said that almost any 2011 Durango could have this problem since the shaft itself was machined/ balanced improperly from the factory. New and old look much different, see below:

New seal/shaft:

Fixed the problem, dealer was very helpful.

I have read of others who have also had this problem and have forwarded the information on to the correct people here at Dodge. I am glad your dealer was able to correct the problem to your satisfaction.
