Door Sill Guard
Install on these would be super easy, but they look far more Bulky and unfinished to boot.
THe vinyl is heavy grade and will stand up pretty well.
Once the vinyl is damaged beyond repair , you simply replace it. Once those Aluminum ones are all scratched they are junk

The metal ones sure look nice. The Dodge plate (above) gets much more "foot traffic" and will scratch as well. I imagine a touch up with super fine steel wool will keep these Durango logo sills looking good a for long time. Seem more practical and durable than vinyl.
The floor mats are the Aries 3D. Not as cool as the Rugged Ridge I had in the F-150, but they had holes for the tabs.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa, guys!
Wasn't there a thread here a few weeks back where somebody offered heavy-duty colored vinyl step guards with die-cuts that would allow your body color to show through? The step guards are any color -- black, white, orange etc. -- you want and the die-cut spells out DURANGO letting your body color show. I think they were being offered for around $50 and were a DIY 30-minute project. In fact there was a video also . . .
I'm not off my meds again, am I? :-)

Meds are working fine--there's a thread on the vinyl sill covers and they come in different colors as well. They look pretty cool and they're durable too. Plenty of choices out there.

I've got the metal ones also. Love them. Really improved the look of the sills and haven't noticed any scratches yet. Very easy install. Less than 10 minutes total I'd say. Just have to line them up correctly. I placed them where I thought they needed to be, placed painters tape on each end then measured to make sure they weren't off. Was quick and easy. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. My wife has the vinyl for her truck and they were nice, but I'd pick the metal ones again if I had to make a choice.
Whew. Too many red/black ones do that some times. :-)
The thread is "Door Sill Custom Decals" and here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/kecolxt
Some of the pix are missing but the text is all there as is the video from Mikeon22s.
