Default Build threads

Ive been on a few sites and one thing I am seeing here is a new thread for the same item but but a few people. My suggestion is if you are doing a build make one thread to post your build. What this will do is show your progression and make it easier for others to follow you. Also, this will clean up the forum a little. When you add a new mod just change title of thread to show lastest update so people know to take a peak. Just wanted to put that out there.

That my friend is a very creative, lucid, and sensational idea. I think I will start mine sometime today after taking a few more photos of items I have yet to capture on 'film'. Great suggestion bro!

Yes and no, build threads are certainly good but when searching for parts or content its much simpler and easier to find info when looking for it when its approached in individual threads. Not to mention this forum absolutely drags as far as content so I don't find it to be cluttered in the least.

we dont need 5 different threads on steering wheels. If you do something unique post it up but making a post everytime you order and then install something is over doing it. Hence why a build thread would be best to show the common mods being installed.

I agree on both counts; lack of content (new subjects are always inviting) and the organization that comes with including subsequent mods into one build thread. The nice thing about multiple threads on one subject is that thread hosts material for just that mod. With an entire build, you could invite clutter within the thread as many people begin posting on subjects outside the thread context. I say heck with it and keep both. One to showcase mods for an individual vehicle and multiple to discuss mods that may or may not align with the original content.

I find no issue with the forum or the way it flows at all, if you want a build thread I say go on and make a build thread. But I'll continue to post as I build my truck and share the info accordingly. Content on this particular subforum is light so I dont see anything as being overdone... different strokes for different folks i guess!
