Default New owner looking for advice on break controller

Hi I'm waiting delivery on my new 2011 Durango Citadel. I am replacing a 2004 Honda Pilot EX-L.

We have a hard top camper trailer which weighs 4500 pounds with gear. The model is a 2010 Rockwood Roo 19.

I am looking for recommendations for electronic break controller which is easy to install by me and not the dealership.

Any ideas?

e-trailer - Trailer Brake Controller Information
It's a good read about the different types. They all install about the same. You do have the opportunity to also purchase a pre wired plug to take any guess work out.

The biggest question is, did you order it with the factory the package?

I just purchased the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller with the wiring harness for my Citadel (factory wired). Now I just need to find where to connect it to the Citadel. It was really easy to find it on my '98.

edit: I just found it, to the left of the OBDII connector and to the right of the emergency brake pedal.
