Hey I resemble that remark! I used to feel that way but I got some 22" Viper replicas and hate how the stock calipers look. I don't need $3000 in brakes (calipers, lines, rotors, pads and labor) just because I don't like how my stock calipers look :-)

Hats off to the OP for doing this though. It will look awesome when done.

Haters gonna hate, too each his own...I agree whole heartedly for the budget conscious they clean up the look 1000% and I've had Brembo/Rotora BBK's on three prior vehicles. I'm guessing his Hemi doesnt have the engine cover on it!!

On that note what Scott's doing is a true brake upgrade not simply for looks though Brembo's simply look insane behind a nice set of wheels!!

Why do you take so much offense to something that I dislike? Then you attack and cut me down? Real mature!

CMil527,

You changed my mind on caliper covers. I'll be getting my "CMIL527 Edition" Durango R/T next week :-) Like I said before, I'm glad we live 3000 miles from each other or you'd be pissed that I copied your mods.

AND AND AND... your starting cost basis on that vehicle was pretty good. Some need to retire that $40,000 head-start you got first. Then the mods will really start flying from everyone. Keep up the good work to lead the way Scott! (be careful on the brakes though, could be dangerous if those mounts aren't really solid)

It wasn't until most of the Gen1s were paid off or out of warranty until the real mods on that Gen all got started.
