Default New Citadel owner - Dealer can't find wiring for a hitch?? Experts please help....

I picked up a new leftover 2011 Citadel this past weekend. It is has the 5.7. I am puzzled, however that it has the tow/haul button but it not only came without a hitch, when the dealer went to add one for me - they noticed there is no wiring harness on the rear of the vehicle to tap into. What is the deal? Is there a seperate towing package I am missing - even at that it seems odd there would not be a harness under or near the rear bumper. Wiring a 7-pin will be difficult. Any thoughts/help would be apprecaited. I'm wondering if they didn't just leave it out.

Trailer Tow Group IV was an option on the Citadel and it sounds like yours didn't come with it.

What does your window sticker say? If you don't have the original window sticker, log onto the Dodge Owners site and register your car by VIN, you can then get a list of the as-built standard, optional, dealer-installed items

Texas,

If you PM me your VIN I will send you a build sheet to show exactly what your vehicle has on it from the factory.

hey the part number you need is 82212196AB, it is for a 7-way complete harness, costs right around $100. this is probabaly a harness that will have to be tied into the TIPM and then sales codes downloaded back into the vehicle to make the harness function.
