Default Window control using remote start

I've owned my '12 Durango R/T for about 2 months. I've had a few issues with it and I've found discussion threads about them but this one.
After using my remote start so that I can cool my vehicle prior to entry (which the ac doesn't work when using remote start ... That's a different thread) I cannot raise or lower my windows. My '11 Ram truck I can remote start it then raise and lower my windows using my lock and unlock buttons, but I'm unable to do the same in my Durango. Is this an option they didn't incorporate with the remote start or am I missing something?

You can roll them down with your remote prior to using the remote start (or any time you want them down). I've never tried to roll them back up with the remote, or after using remote start.

This feature was taking away in the '12 D's. There's a thread about this, sucks. 😝

Does not work prior to using the remote start either.

@fmunoz, you said they took this feature away, is it still supposed to be available prior to remote starting the vehicle as stated by kingofwylietx?

Hansel,

You cannot roll your windows down in the 2012's with the remote. While the link below is for a RAM the last couple of pages of the thread covers the 2012's pretty well.

Thank you, disappointing, but appreciate the direction. I saw that thread but gave up on the first page or two that it wast going to address my issue. Also looking forward to the August update / fix to address the no a/c upon remote start issue.

YW. I will post the remote A/C fix in the proper thread as soon as it comes out.
