Haha! That site is f'd up! They also state that Smart Beam is a standard Durango feature. It's only standard and only available on the Citadel.

That's that specs for the hemi in the Ram 1500. It's just tuned down in the Durango.

If Ram and Durango use the same engine, then they should both have the same horsepower and torque!

From what I understand the Durango has a different intake manifold related to clearance issues

Default Drive it like you stole it

Bottom line is to drive it before you buy it. Don't get caught up in the media hype. When I was deciding to purchase or not I made my sales guy tag along for my daily commute. I rode home from the dealer, then to work, and back to the dealer. In the end I am happy, I'm happy with the MPGs and reasonable amount of power. Of course, more power and same fuel economy would be nicer... I hope they come out with a reasonably priced SRT8 version of the Durango!

There have been rumors of an SRT8 Durango, but probably will never happen due to the relatively low volumes of Durangos sold. If you want an SRT8 Durango, buy the SRT8 Jeep - as long as you can live without the third row and a few CF of space.

They are probably capable of the same numbers at the crank, but the Durango is tuned for mileage.

I had an 09 Ram with the 390/407 and it would kick the **** out of my D. As already mentioned I believe the intake mani is different and the final drive. I think I had 3.92 in the truck.
