Just an FYI for you guys - doing the rocky road kit on my 2016 RT AWD right now. Taking pics of everything each step and will do a full write-up tomorrow. Going to submit it to RR so they can print it out as instructions for us Durango owners for future usage but will post everything here as well.

Things that are missing from their instructions:

Exact tool list
Torque specs for each bolt
Pics of each step (there's a few pics but also several steps in between each one)
Some other tips on doing it easier / solo without help

Could use some help ASAP. Shoot me a PM with a phone number. Got the rear done no prob, having a bitch of the time with the front though. Gonna have to remove the axle half shafts. Anyone do the rocky road kit themselves? Hit me up please.

edit - Got everything done, did end up having to pop out the axles on each side of the diff. Putting them back in took some work, ended up using a ratchet strap between the shock and control arm to put a bit of tension on them then spun the rotor with a pry bar between the studs for leverage I was so tired. Two separate "pops" to get them fully in (rotate until it popped in once, readjust strap, rotate until second "give", done).

Only issue is now I have an ESC warning that came on immediately after, and there's a clunking noise sometimes from the front. Not sure where it's coming from but I was definitely concerned with how much pressure seemed to be on the upper wishbone / U shape part of the control arms to get the ball joint to link back up with the lower part. The RR kit added a lot more height than I thought it would though maybe it just needs to settle and be driven more.

Any thoughts? Taking it in to the dealership this week for alignment + TSB on the transmission + ESC warning, hoping to order wheels and tires too while I'm there if they can get the Fuel Beasts.

ESC warning cleared up with the alignment at the dealership today, but the clunking is still there. I only really notice it when I'm going over speed bumps at an angle and the vehicle rocks side to side. Comes from distinctly the front left and front right - left when the vehicle rocks left, right when the vehicle rocks right. I can feel it through my feet and through the steering wheel a bit.

Clunking is from the sway links, tighten them up properly and youre good to go.

Cranked on them pretty damn hard when we were putting things back together. Had to use a pry bar to get them to line up after the spacers were in, but as far as being tightened goes they should be as tight as I could get them. I'll check again today.

I'm experiencing the exact same thing. I installed the kit last weekend, and tightened every thing up. Noticed the front clunk/rattle all week, so I popped off the wheels this morning and double checked everything again. It's all still as tight as I can get it.

I'm sad, because it looks fantastic with the lift and wheels/tires. The noise is making me crazy though. I reached out to RRO for suggestions as well today.

Are you guys secureing the bottom of the sway link mounting bolt? I almost stripped mine cause I used a wrachet to hold it while tightening with a wrench. After that my clunk went away.

I could make it clunk while lifting from the wheel well. Had my bro do this while i was under the car thats how i found the noise. GL

I guess I didn't check the bottom bolt because we didn't touch it when we installed the kit. We only unbolted the top side.

I failed to mention that when tightening the sway links i took all load off the suspension by putting a jack under the lower control arm then tightening sway links and all other suspension hardware. Hth

Can you take some pics of which bolts you're talking about specifically? I don't *think* we touched the bottom bolt when I did it...as for stripping, I didn't really worry about stripping any of the bolts - those ****ers are pretty beefy and were enough of a bitch to break loose that if anything they're not torqued down enough.
