Exclamation Now my Airbag light came on...

for about 5 miles then went off. On the way home from work, my airbag light was on. I pulled over, stopped the engine, and restarted it and it was still on. Then as soon as I got a few blocks from my house, it just went out. WTF?!

I think I may have an electrical lemon on my hands here. My wife said when she dropped the kids off at camp this morning, the radio just shut off on her and wouldn't play any sound. She cycled the engine and it still didn't work all the way home. She tried iPod, XM, and FM and no sound at all. Then of course I go to check it out and it's working fine. Drove it about 30 miles today and it hasn't happened for me! Now this on and off airbag crap. I just can't win!

I feel for you, I'd probably be on the verge of totally losing it! I'm getting annoyed with my few little things, but none of them are like what you are experiencing. I am hoping that my air vent issue doesn't end up the same way yours did.

I'd be doing back flips on the show room floor if I were you. You may just have a lose connection/plug at the base of the steering column. When the airbag gets unplugged the light comes on. I had a similar problem on my dakota - they fixed it, but only after I did my best James Brown impersonation in front of the entire show room.

Had same problem with air bag light on my 2011 Citadel. Brought it back to dealer and replaced sensor on driver seat under warranty. Hope this helps.

I hope it's something simple. It keeps going on and off, and only seems to happen on cold starts. Didn't do this before they repaired the rear blower motor problem.
