Body Match Mods R/T
CMil, I see "we" have forgotten already.
RTBLUZZ, excellent looking Durango. Those wheels are usually very played out finding themselves on just about every Dodge in the stable. HOWEVER, they look excellent in chrome on your Durango with the matching Bright Silver. Nice job.

I owed you one, nothing but love Indy!!
from the Clinton Admin? Oh yea... I remember now... my 2011 1st Place Mopar Madness, 2011 2nd Place Carlisle Nationals, 2011 & 2012 2-Time ModernMopar group highlight and 2011 Honoree D at the Production Facility... that's my played out D!
But seriously, I didn't mean any offense to anyone. It is just that those wheels have been around forever on every type of vehicle. IIRC, I even saw a Neon get mocked up with them once. With the Gen3 being very fresh, I just wish there were more folks pushing the envelope on the wheels they are getting. But in the end, who cares what I wish. You guys do what makes you happy and we can all agree at least it isn't a Ford Explorer!
The reasons why I am not yet in a new Durango yet is about three things (I am considering a SRT8 JGC.)
1) No real reason to dump my Durango. Still turns head and the tires just fine.
For the other two reasons, as a performance and a dedicated Dodge guy, they kill me.
2) that the SRT group continues to thumb their nose at the Durango. Shameful. Wait until there is a SRT Journey. There are already SRT Neons, Calibers and the new Dart. Shameful again.
And
3) As a family of two now, I don't need the third row. I wish Dodge would take a card out of Mitsi's deck like Mitsi has on the Outlander and also produce a shorter version in their Outlander Sport edition. Something a tad lighter could breath a little more life into the mover-over-reportedly somewhat slow HEMI R/T. A 3.45 rear? Shameful yet again. It has been to many years now where R/T is marketing and packaging and not the performance that R/T once stood for.

My dealer said not to hold your breath for an SRT8 Durango. While they've probably mocked it up, Durangos just don't sell enough units to warrant the development expense. The dealer indicates that Jeep SRT8 sales have been light, so I offered to take one off his hands at the same price as the Citadel. No deal, and he did end up selling their stock of 2 within a few days. You would think that 90% of it would be the same. The Jeep is seen as sportier simply because no third row, so apparently that's where the SRT will remain.
