I have purchased a new Dodge fob key from an ebay seller for my 2011 Dodge Durango. I have had in programmed by a locksmith. The fob key correctly functions in everyway EXCEPT it does not work as a fob. That is, all the buttons (including the remote start) function correctly and, without the ignition button, it works as a key, but will not work to automatically allow the doors to unlock or the ignition to start without inserting the fob as a key. Is the problem the key or the programming? If it is the programming, can it be reprogrammed?
