Kenwood radio replacement options coming soon.
Just a little heads up on what is coming from Kenwood for radio replacement options for our Durangos.
Kenwood has teamed with Idata Link to create a new harness that will allow all our stock features to be retained should you want to change out to a new Kenwood 2012 double din radio. The Maestro harness being released first for the Ford SYNC vehicles will be the first one on the market. The GM Class II radios will be next followed by the UConnect harness in the next 1-2 months.
Here is a little info to show you how we will be able to interchange a new Kenwood double din into the 2011-13 Durango and still retain stock features.
As we get word on release dates we will have these instock with complete install ready packaged prewired for a super simple install. We have been offering prewired packages now for years to our Corvette customers and its been a very popular service we offer. With the radio wired to the Maestro harness you will simply just need to plug into the stock wiring and your new radio will power up.
Stay tuned for more info

Would have been cool if they used the infotainment system like in the Journey and Charger in the Durango, but thanks for the heads up!! Always looking to do mods to the D. Only three weeks old and sunk a couple thousand in additions already...i have issues LOL
