Default ISSUE: Center Consule Captian's Chairs

Hey, I was wondering is anyone has seen/have pictures of the "nice" center console for the captain's chairs?

Here's the issue. Ordered by Crew with the captain's chairs and center console early March, build was delayed and it was finally delivered in late April. The build sheet at the dealer AND the online "check your vehicle progress" had the center console included. However, when it showed up it didn't have it (only the one on the floor)
Dealer stated that there were delays with the center console, but was willing to order the parts (charging me the initial $300+ it was suppose to cost)and install it free of charge as soon as they could do so.
I've been checking in with them periodically, and they keep stating that they are working on it, but not getting anywhere with Dodge. Further, dealer stated that they have ordered Durangos with the console, but none have showed up at the lot (basically stating they are still not in production).
Has anyone else had any issues with this? Have any pictures? Any suggestions?
Thanks

JHC

I know that the center consoles are pretty rare so when the dealer said he could get one loaded I jumped at the chance. Cars.com didn't have one for 500 miles and my dealer found one off the grid. I would definately push to get it. It really does complete the captains chairs and gives you a lot of storage space, not to mention the drinks holder is now off the floor. Have a look at my pictures, and if you need some close up's let me know. Good luck

Thanks for the pictures, definitely want that console... think I'll start pushing a bit more to get it. Those are the first I've seen of it, other than those horrible "official" pictures that are taken of the cutaway Durango from the Stratosphere...

Getting and installing the console isn't the tough part. On the console equipped D's, the seats don't have the center arm. At minimum, you'd need to remove those arms, but the resulting look may not be ideal. Not sure if there is a cap to go over the armrest pivots - haven't actually seen one.

Mini console has armrests on the chairs and with full console, the chairs have no armrests and the console lid is the armrest.

Here's a pic of the mini console:

We had a d with the large console while we were waiting for ours to come from another dealer. The console is nice but the d i got has the mini console and we like it much more. It is easy to get into the 3rd row without taking out my car seats.. I was confused when the build sheet said console until I realized there was a mini and a regular console. Good luck
