Anyone have any experience with these door moldings?

Thumbs up

I installed a set a few months ago, easy to put on. Had to remove my Citadel emblem but that was easy. I think they look good and will protect my doors. Also, they did a great job on the color match.

I have the ones with the chrome. I had to remove the Citadel emblem but my wife wanted it back so I reinstalled the emblem letters ON the molding and it looks good.

One tip though. I still ended up getting dinged right on the crease of the front passenger door. I would not follow their instructions exactly. If I had to do all over, I would mount them higher up, closer to the panel crease. The angle is so sharp that if you mount them low, they don't really protect the front door. I would mark with tape where the instructions want them, then I'd shift a little higher. Experiment with a ruler to see if you are really going to protect that crease.

Please excuse the dirty car....

Also, notice the gap between the crease and the top of the molding? I would cut that gap at least in half if I was ever to reinstall.

Awesome! I ordered mine last week. I like the way you re-applied the decals. Did you have to put on new double sided tape or did you manage to get them off in one piece?

I reapplied new double sided tape. It was a chore.

I researched some "molding" glue but some amazon reviews complained about it not holding. So I ordered the extra wide body molding tape,
similar to this similar to this
, although I had ordered a much larger roll, I love that stuff.

Then I sat down with a hobby xacto knife, applied a big piece of tape to the back of each individual letter and then cut off the excess.

The letters have been on now for about 5 or 6 months I think.
