Default Door lock activation

Does anyone know what conditions make the doors automatically lock? It seems to vary a great deal. Sometimes I go down the road over 30mph for two miles before they lock and other times they lock very soon and I don't think I've gone over 30 mph. I'm just wondering what the programming is.

I am 99% sure that it is supposed to activate at 15mph.

Mine forgot to lock until 30mph this morning, it is usually spot-on 15mph. Maybe there is some set of parameters that dictates 30mph vs 15mph? Either way, it should be locked by 31mph.
