Default Tire Options for 2012 R/T

I have a 2012 Durango R/t and would like to get tires that are wider than the stock 265/50 R20 tires. Approximate equivalent sizes that still have the overall same diameter are 295/45 R20 and 325/40 R20. Does anybody know if any of these wider tires will fit the Durango with the stock wheels? I just like the look of wider tires such as those that come on the Grand Cherokee SRT or the BMW X5.

Thanks, BCC

It's gonna look retarded without the actual rims being wider though! The tires will fit though! The 325 will likely be too wide for the rim. I wouldn't trust the safety/handling of it!

Cool

You will not be able to fit wider tires on the stock 8" rims safely - the narrowest rim recommended for that tire size is 9". They will look silly and will wear out fast. The SRT has 10" rims and a different offset. If you really want that look you'll need new rims and tires.

A less expensive alternative - not as cool though - is to use hub-centric wheel spacers. Those will move the wheels out a bit and make them look more aggressive.

Tanabe Medalion! Just an axle back though! All the cat-backs I looked into sound too loud! These sound just right!
