Default Looking for something to protect door "instep" and bottoms

I'm looking for two things, I've tried some parts sites and haven't found anything.

First off I'm looking for something to protect the "instep" under the door. When you open the door it's that part of the body that goes under it and in my experience always gets scuffed as people get in an out of the vehicle. This is specifically for the front doors, but if I could find something for the back doors it would be great.

Secondly, I'd like to find something to protect the lower part of the doors themselves. Some people (especially kids) have a habit of opening the door on a vehicle and holding it open with their feet against the lower portion of the door resulting in scuffing.

Any ideas?

I used the clear plastic stuff. When it gets torn up, I'll just replace it.

Have you seen the stainless Mopar sill guards? pn 82212281
Front ones are nice, rear ones are a bit small, due to the area not being flat over the length of the sill.

I've noticed I'm scraping the chrome piece below the door sill.

I have noticed the same thing. I think that it is impossible not to, as they are furthest point outward and your pant legs can't avoid rubbing on them when getting out. I know we are extra careful getting in and out and they still scuff. Just one of those things you have to live with. I also put the clear 3M film on the door sills and it works great.
