Walked into my garage this morning to find my 2012 Durango Crew with 3K miles sitting in a small pool of coolant. I immediately took it to the dealership and they found that it needed a new "Thermostat housing case" It's not drive-able until it's fixed.

The Good: They set me up with a sub par Jeep Liberty rental to drive until it's fixed.

The Bad: They told me the part is on back order and there is no eta. Now it sits outside in their maintenance lot until further notice.

And so it begins...Anyone else encounter this issue yet on there D?

 

I know of a personal friend who's 2011 JGC did the exact same thing. Must be a design issue problem.

Mine leaked out all the coolant as well and they had to replace the thermostat housing...they ordered the part and had it in next day. this was a month ago.
