Default Differences between 11, 12 and 13

Hi Guys,

I just placed an order for a 2013 Durango Crew, and since I have about 8 weeks, I want to start ordering some accessories. I am looking into getting front/rear weather tech mats and the vent visors. Most of the accessories I see are for 2011/2012. My questions is, are there differences between the 2011/2012 and 2013? My guess is that companies have not had a chance to test fit their products in the 2013 and that is the reason why it is not listed as being compatible.

Mats and vent visors will be identical.

Your selected accessories should be fine. I installed the WT visors on my D and they look great. A friend purchased the WT slush mats for his D and they fit well.

I looked at 2012s and 2013s side by side. The only difference I saw was in the sticker.

Negative! The 2013 has 2 hold downs for the passenger floormat and the previous models only have 1. I ordered the Weathertech floor liners for a 2012 and had to remove the 2 hold downs so that the passenger side would fit.

Looks like your right about the retaining clips...although some sites are advertising that the weather tech mats fit 2011 to 2013...I wonder if weather tech will develop mats for the 2013...

Like I said, the aftermarket mats are going to be identical 2011-2013. It is the Durango that is different. Very unlikely they are going to retool to adapt a mat that already fits to works in addition to the new clips. Just remove them or work around them.

Gen1 98-00s have always had to usually remove the stocker drivers side hook to get any weather mat brand to fit. Nothing new there.

The difference is between the 11/12 and 2013...

Ive got about 8 weeks before the 2013 is built, I guess if they dont have updated liners by then, I'll get the other ones and remove the clips...thanks guys.l..

I spoke with someone at WT a few weeks back. They are making mats for the 13 they will be different to fit from the factory and they hope to have them released this month (from what I was told) HTH
