Let me say first and foremost for what i paid ($550 from performancepeddler.com) I think it's a great value and sounds awesome but I noticed a few of you guys as well as myself have had a few fitment issues! So today I contacted them today in regards to my issue which seems to be the passenger side muffler section hitting the frame on any type of dip, I'm not sure if its the length of the pipe in that section or a hanger issue but that shouldnt be the case when purchasing a bolt on system! I have a large piece of rubber in there to space it away and absorb any vibration but I shouldn't have to do that. So I spoke to Nick over at Flowmaster and he was extremely helpful being a car guy and felt it was NOT acceptable so he wants to hear from us so they can address the problem please take a few minutes to call them or email and hopefully they can square away the issue! Thanx guys
I had a shop shorten the pipes by the rear diff by 4-5" and the clearance is perfect and the tips are aligned perfectly. Then we welded it because it is a very fickle poor fitting exhaust, but would change it because it sounds so good
I installed the FlowMaster exhaust on my 2012 durango and also had the fitment issue with the passenger side. I ran the exhaust hanger through the rubber piece just under the pre-formed hole (circled in yellow in pic below).
I plan too but everyone should certainly chime in independantly as well!
