I had my R/T AWD out in the snow the other day. We had about 4-6 inches. It did pretty good for factory tires I thought. Once I get a set of nice wheels for the summer, I'll be putting winter treads on the factory wheels and it should go a lot better. I did that with my AWD R/T Dodge Magnum and it was a tank in the snow.

Either way, the Durango is no Jeep, I had a Wrangler back in the day and it just laughed at snow. The D does well enough to get you through as long as you're smart about it.

On a side note, I know 18"s will fit but will 17"s fit? Also, what seems to be a good place to find cheaper rims? I am thinking about buying a second set of wheels to run winter tires on.
anyone?
