Default Back up camera too slow!

Anyone else notice it takes too long for the back up cam to show on the screen when in reverse? On my G37, the camera pops up on the screen almost the instant you put the car in reverse, even when the disclaimer screen is on right after starting the engine. On the D, it takes like 2-3 seconds! Doesn't sound like a long time when you say "2-3 seconds" but when you're actually parking or backing out, it takes too long!

Yes and add that annoying legal disclaimer every single time!

Default Backup cam

I don't so much notice the delay in the cam activating, but that disclaimer is obnoxious.

I believe there's a setting in the stereo.. Menu, settings, back up camera delay. I'm not sure of the exact order, going off of memory.

I found when my car was brand new the camera popped up immediately, but that now a couple years later it takes a few seconds. Sometimes it takes a few seconds now to even get the disclaimer screen. I just attributed it to an older computer. Seems like it works like that for every electronic device I own. :-(

JRRF,

The back-up camera should be maintaining the same speed. If you feel is it exceptionally slow or not operating as designed, you may want to have it diagnosed by a Dodge dealer.

Please note, as per the owner's Manual, page 202, states that a caution note to "check entire surroundings" across the top of the screen will be displayed on the Navigation/Multimedia display and after 5 seconds this note will disappear.
