I was wondering if anyone has added a tablet to their durango's dash. I know some(not necessarly durango's) have replaced their radio's with tablets built in the dash permanently and others have installed their tablets in a temporary form using mounts.

I don't think I would want to replace my radio but I would love to be able to mount my tablet for the gps. If you have, pictures would be great.

There are some good, stable and reliable mounts out there. Arkon SM517 seems highly rated over at amazon which would be my choice for my Nexus 7.

There are also behind the headrest mounts for tablets-for passengers. Why throw boo coo $'s at an in car entertainment system when you can get 4 iPads for the same price?

 

These are becoming a common mod in Corvette's, my hobby car, they do look really cool. I would like to have an IPad mini in the D.

 

Anyone seen ipad mini headrest mounts? Need them for wifeys acadia...Tia!
