Unhappy 2013 Dodge Durango R/T Running Boards

I started my search for running boards for a 2013 Durango R/T (2011-2013 should be the same). NOTE: I am looking for flat running boards and not the roll step side bars style.

An internet vendor advised they had the ROMIG running boards in stock. When I asked if they will work with the R/T plastic rocker pannels cladding, he replied "they work will all 2010-2013 Dodge Durangos".
That was a surprise to me since a local auto/truck aftermarket shop looked at their ROMIG catalog and told me they did not fit the R/T. I then contacted ROMIG directly (Whitehall, PA) and they advised they did not fix the R/T.

Another internet vendor advised that the ONKI would fit the R/T. I was told by the same local auto/truck aftermarket parts dealer that the ONKI would not fit the R/T.

I contacted ONKI directly (Oakland, California) and they advised that "they did not belive it would fit the R/T because the rocker pannels cladding".

They suggested I took pictures of the cladding and underneath the vehicle and e-mail them the pics. I will try to take some pics and see what they can do.

Note: I also looked at the DeeZee and Westin and again was told they would not work on the R/T.

No, too much complication with switching rocker pannels. I will see what ONKI says. If I can not find a flat running board, I will have to go with a tubular roll bar style until some other manufacturer builds a regular style running board.

I can't justify running boards on the Durango. I had westin tubular boards on my ram, but it also had a 6" lift and 35" tires

I have to agree there's not much issue getting in/out for my 7 & 10 year old much less me unless of course u like the look then that's a whole other discussion.

Default Sandog 34

Can you post pictures and details?
UPDATE: SANDOG 34: Thanks for the info and pics on the MOPAR bars. Now I will have to convince my local Dodge Dealers that MOPAR do make the tubulars steps to fit the R/T.
