What octane fuel are you running? I have a g-timer and will do a before and after interceptor and cai. Not expecting much on my 0-60 but we'll see. Thanks again for the write up!
good question, I run 93 octane almost exclusively and have done so since installing the interceptor

I may see how she performs on 89...actually I need gas now, maybe I'll try a few gallons...when gas prices are under $4 or $5 a gallon I usually just stick with 93

Just installed mine. Took about 25 min. Only took it around the block but I can tell it's definitely quicker at the start. My initial impression on my exhaust is that it seems to have quieted a little, but, this is also after my hr commute, so it could be a coincidence. I'll let you know how my full impression after I drive it for a while. So far, I am happy and can't wait for more of a complete drive experience.

Who's next?

BTW I cant really see how this would affect exhaust tone.. more likely its when you guys are driving the truck, whether it be cold or fully warmed up!

Some have reported changes in tone with the Diablo as well. I always swore My Gen 1 D with SCT programmer had a much better exhaust note...I felt it sounded crisper.
It is possible since different Air fuel ratio's are being produced and different levels of power are being developed.
I do believe as you said the exhaust changes tone when cold to hot.

i think te exhaust is louder at lower RPM now
or that there is more low end TQ now present
so b4 it took pedal mash and high rpm to get the sound I now get earlier ..

I'd have to agree. My earlier feedback on the exhaust was not right (it was hot from the commute), but this morning sounded just as good as normal. I love the way it feels now! Much more responsiveness. I can hear my Volant whistling now LOL!
