Anyone rolled through an automatic car wash with your shark fin installed? Any problems?

Also, when removing your factory antenna, do you just unscrew the antenna or do you have to remove the base as well?

I haven't been through an automatic car wash since I put mine on. Going to give it a couple of weeks in the sun to hopefully seal completely.

The factory antenna just unscrews, there's a wire that you screw down on the top of the existing antenna, and then the entire shark fin just fits over the existing mount. It was super easy to install. The hardest part for me was getting the screw out of the tiny ziploc bag it was included in.

thanks for your input. I did the install in about 7 minutes.

For anyone with concerns about automatic car washes like me...I emailed Visual Garage and asked. Here is his response.

"It is best to wait for a week or two just to let the adhesive gasket be set, and for the paint to fully cure."
