bye bye dodge
Congrats but I went from a GC to Durango and service at my dealers has been great.. Already have a Silverado and could not pull myself to buying another chevy with all the plastic interior. Service is good but the quality of the interior for what I paid was not. But good luck with your purchase.
I like the Caddy. I had a tough time deciding between a Tahoe and the Durango and there were certain things I preferred about both. IMO, front seat comfort, the Tahoe completely won. However, second and third row, the prize goes to the Durango. With my big family, that mattered. The third row in the Tahoe is a sick joke.
I was amazed at how different these vehicles really are. In the GM I felt completely isolated from the road which can be a good thing, say on long trips. In the Durango I feel like it's a driver's vehicle, which can get old, specifically on long trips.
In the end, I went with the cheapest. I got a LOADED D for $15k less than a comparable Tahoe (can't imagine what the Caddy cost).
Either way, gorgeous truck, and congratulations on your purchase.

Thanks everyone. I applaud the durango's interior space. I haven't sat in the third row of the cadillac to compare yet. The cadillac was custom order. The exterior is Mocha steel and ebony interior. I had to custom order it because it usually comes with cashmere interior. That's why it took nearly 3 months to come in.
There are two dodge dealerships within 15 mins drive. Both equally sick at cust service. The cust service managers rush you in and out. Never in my life have I been told by the cust service manager that they do not make appointments and all work is first come first serve. Absolute nonsense.
Sitting in the driver seat of the Durango is more sport/cockpit type feel. The cadillac is more comfortable.

Congrats on the Escalade. Although if you decided to change to GM for customer service that's a head scratcher. Why didn't you go to Benz and BMW if you wanted good service? You can't beat those two when it comes to service.
