They make a world of difference when your D is parked outside in the summer sun. They allow a breeze to move the hot air from the vehicle without letting any rain in.

I was going to reply with basically the same thing and then I noticed where he was from and figured I would let it go. One long day at 100 degrees in a FL asphalt parking lot would give him a new appreciation for rain guards.

I also have theWeatherTechs,great for giving the dogs some air when it's raining (and NOT hot outside!). But the rear deflectors don't doo too much good because of the way the window opens. As it opens a gap appears at the rear of the window and that is not protected.

I have always had these for the exact reason when we travel to warmer climates or The D is left out in the summer sun
