Few things regarding programming in my durango 2012
Hello every one
I would like to get your help regarding the following:
1- When I switch on the air condition of my Durango 2012, every time the control is set on window defrost then I have to change the mode to front normal vent to get the air from. Does any body know why is that and why it shouldn't stay where I left it last time!? For example, I switch off the air-condition from off button after trip while it was on normal (not glass nor feet), when I switch it on again after while (more than one hour), the air comes from top and down so I have to change it with mode button!!
Is there away to program this?
2- there are some ticking sound when start the vehicle or after turn the engine off. It looks like exhaust pipe extending so does all Durango do this?
3- How do I program the central lock to auto-lock while shifting during drive?
thanks for your help

The locks can be set up in the EVIC menu from the steering wheel and the screen between speedo and tach.
The exhaust sound is it cooling down. They get very hot and expand and contract as teh heat builds and goes away.
As far as the hvac I leave mine on auto and just set temps and all works well
sorry cannot help with that

For point 3, you won't get it to auto lock when you shift into drive (GM and Toyota do this). You can set the D to auto lock once you get up to speed in the EVIC. I think the doors will auto lock at 15-20mph.
As to item one: try resetting your memory button with the AC set how you want it to be when you start the truck. It could be changing dur to a prior learn. Just a though as my Caddy does this with the memory postions, radio presets and climate control settings to each of the drivers keys and memory settings. JMTC
thank to all of you and to V 4 victory. I will try to do so and let you know.
My friend Mac424, yes what i meant is to lock the doors while start speeding up. But this is not working in my Crew 2012?? Some one told me that this can be done in the dealer as they use computer to set them.
Do any one did this?? I mean set the autolock some where else or can be done by the vehicle owner??
Also, Can I ask what other programming can be set on new Durango??
Last and most importent, does any one has in his/her Durango the specification of opening windows with remote keyless?? I had a Chrysler Town and country doing so and some other friends told me they got this spec. in their dodge/jeep/chrysler cars too!!!! looking forwards to hear from you.
thanks

I believe if you press unlock twice and hold button drivers window goes down.
The locks should be able to be set in the EVIC menu that you adjust from steering wheel controls or Menu button on dash, sorry dont know what your interior looks like. Look in the manual it tells you how to do it on all models
