Which hitch for a 2011 Durango SXT
The parts is on order and on the way. I decided to go oem all the way including the cable that runs from the front of the vehicule with the proper faceplate and all.
Yeah I know I have to cut through the bumper facia but from the instruction it looks simple enough. All after market installed involved making a splice in the cabling and I really didn't like that. Those types requires soldering to hold properly. Plus I would rather have the hitch a little bit higher off the ground.
I'll post pictures of the install process here.

@Troclawski,
Here are some instructions to taking off the rear bumper:

Second Image:
2. Open the rear liftgate (1).
3. Remove the two lower retainers (4) at the rear support beam.
4. Remove the fasteners (5) at the back sides of the quarter panels, in the liftgate opening.
5. Remove the fasteners (3) on both sides at the wheel well openings.
Third Image:
6. Release the integral latch features at the sides (5) and along the back (4) and separate the fascia (1) from the vehicle.
7. Disconnect the body harness electrical connector (3) and remove the fascia.
8. Remove both the park assist (6) and blind spot sensors (2), if equipped.
9. Remove the sensor electrical harness.
I found this information in the 2011 Dodge Durango Service Manual. More information can be located there, if you are looking to purchase one they are available at www.techauthority.com or 1-800-890-4038.
I hope this helps.
