Awesome Shelbe67,

Maybe you can do a video with a couple of rev's and then a wot take off outside the truck and maybe a inside the truck for noise reference. Thanks

I have the flowmaster too with the american thunder mufflers. I'll see if I can do a video...but it's hard because mashing on the pedal while stationary is not the same tone and growl as when I'm leaving someone in traffic and I'd never get to video that. At startup and a nice idle...it's deep...and at times I can feel my windows in my house shaking a little. There is some drone...but I think I'm used to it now.

Here is a video of mufflers being removed. Any local muffler shop can do this for well under $200.

Put the Magnaflow on today along with the Mopar intake. I had the suitcase muffler cut out and it was loud but sounded cheap and like a rattle can at high RPM. The Magnaflow is quieter than expected but it is way more throaty than stock and has a purr to it now. It sounds like what IMO a D3 should sound like, not too loud but not too quiet...just right. But ask me again in 2 months when the baffling starts to get packed out. All good exhaust systems need to break in and will sound so much different over time. Even the stock exhaust sounded louder over the past few months.

My Borla system on my Magnum is ridiculous now and I remember when I had it installed I thought it needed to be louder and my installer said give it time. The Magnaflow is a quality system and it shows when you have it on. So it just depends on what you want and what you have to spend but for only a couple hundred more bucks over the Flowmaster it was a no brainier to go with the Magnaflow. Good luck!
