At a stop, turn off the TCS with the button and then punch it and see if that improves your take-off.

Thanks everyone for the great feed back!! I know they are completely two different type of suv's!!! I'm thinking if I can get a R/T and give it my own twist to it!!! I would be happy, with a beefed up looking/sounding Durango that can haul my family of 6!!!!
I'm going to throw this out here because , I know for a fact that the RED durango is faster and that's why I'm going with red!!! Lol I'm not ready to pull the trigger right now!!
Building a house, so after we r moved in, I will be shopping for a 2014....

I would go with a hotter cam and new heads before I boosted it. The 5.7 can be boosted with tuning but you don't wanna push more than 8-10 lbs on a stock motor. Our top end is the weak link. Once you build that up you can have more fun boosting it safely (or spraying in in my case...hahah). IMO once the TQ mgmt is cracked all you need is new heads and a cam, full exhaust and a tune and you will be in SRT territory and getting great gas mileage! I know because I did it with my Mangnum, 460 HP and 24 MPG on the highway. I was able to pull away from the 6.1's and with my long tubes and a new tune I will be in stock 6.4 territory. Just a thought. There is no replacement for displacement!

Ya I'm really happy with the results to this day. I could have gone with an even hotter cam and better heads but the setup I got was proven and getting great results. When your ready to say goodbye to the warranty it's the way to go!
