Dreems they don't even need shaving . The lense on the bulb is too big to even fit into housing socket. Bulb needs to be thinner.

Just put these in and they look good. Had to trim 2 of the plastic tabs.

Well VLEDS.com is where I always buy my leds had them but backordered to 8/15 so I found a set on Ebaa that looked the same, seller had good rating and 60 day warranty. We will see, had to trim 2 of the 3 tabs on bulb but snaps in fine. $36

I had hids in the 04 and 08 and they were great ran VVME 25 watt 5K with zero issue. Little worried about all the claims of melted housing. I am keeping the shipping box and everything just in case.

I am petty sore as long as you stay at our under the factory wattage you shouldn't melt the housing. The mistake people make are using a 55 watt kit. I had a 35 watt kit with plastic housings on my escalade ext for almost a year and no issues at all. My thing is that these fogs on our trucks don't focus light out just reflect it at a wide angle.

I agree the reflector in the D3 is pretty bad, the 2007-2009 was as well, The 2004-2006 was excellent. They were like a second low beam and really lit up the road edges. I always saw the deer on the edge of the road with mine.

I could drive down the street in my 98 I had. They should have upgraded the fogs like the headlights on the R/T's and the Citadels and put in projectors. For the price difference in the Citadel vs the R/T, the healights seem like the only upgrade compared to the base or crew. At least the R/T got you wheels, lower front valance and the suspension. Only way to tell a Citadel apart from a crew is the letters on the door and trunk....and single outlet for a V6.
