Plenty of proven tuners out there though. Johan, Mike @ OST, AJ/hemituner, HHP, Jerseyboy, etc.

I agree with you and I have had one of the tuners that you have mentioned above tune my Magnum VERY well but have had problems getting him recently to help me out with the D3. So I think I might just give Hemifever a shot. I am looking forward to hearing your results but I'm going with a 92 octane tune. I read on an app this weekend (Drive Dodge) for the D3 that they recommend 89 for the 5.7's. 87 is acceptable but 89 is better. That and Costco only has 87 and 92 : )

13.3 MPG with custom 89 octane tune with mainly city driving (MDS on). Diablo 87 octane canned tune was about the same (MDS off). Stock was 14 something.

Went to the track today. Got a couple runs in with the hemifever 89 octane custom tune.

Best was 15.29 @ 90.12. My best run with the canned 87 octane tune with 5% fuel added was 15.31 @ 90 something. Weight and temperatures were about the same. Basically no appreciable difference at the track.

Got a .000 reaction time today. First time for me.

MPG with the hemifever tune was 13 mixed (mainly city) and 21 MPH highway. With stock tune I was around 14 and 21.

How many miles do you have on the D; where are you in your break-in process? Mine got noticeably better mileage and responsiveness as it broke in, mostly by 10k miles. Variations as small as you are seeing could be attributable to weather and/or break-in if you are still going through it.
