Hypertech starting hesitation
Considering the fact that the Hypertech is recalibrating the existing sensors here is what might be going on. The truck may actually fire a little rich, not enough to trip a code or cause any issue. I remember my Gen 1 sometimes would do this when I was running the SCT on 87 program. I have been running all 93 octane since installing the HT and have no issues. I dont think its anything to worry about.

Update
Tried to remote start my truck yesterday morning and temp was around 33 degrees....didn't want to turn over and start. I could hear it really try, but it hesitated and just didn't start. Wonder if the combo of temp and running 93 octane is causing the issue? Temps likely won't get that cold again anytime soon...so i guess i'll have to wait till the fall. Love the Hypertech....so i guess we'll see what happens.

I just read over on Jeepgarage.org that a few guys have said they contacted Hypertech and there was a batch of units that went defective over time and they were offered to send the units back to Hypertech to be fixed.
If anyone is going to contact them you need the serial number of your interceptor when you call
