Is that hole where the stock air box was speed to just open now? I can't see in any of the install paperwork but I don't think it fits with the new cai.

You are referring to where the snorkel came towards the grill correct. That hole where teh weatherstrip goes over the factory intake remains open.
That was one of the reasons why I went with the Volant.

Thanks for the reply. No big deal, I'll take my heat gun and mold it around the intake filter and trim of the bottom so it doesn't run water straight into it.
