I really want DRLs!

Cuz we don't have the option to turn them on or off. I switched out my fogs with led's and sometimes I drive with them on just for looks but I'd rather not have all my parking lights on and my dash lights dim. I ride a motorcycle and HID's/LED's are much more visible than 1/2 dim yellow halogens.

I believe DRLs are a safety issue, which is why insurance companies give a discount (albeit small) for having them. I just think they make me more visible to other cars. And in NY where you have to have lights on when your wipers are on, you don't have to think about it. I know there's an option for lights on/wipers on in the Durango, but that doesn't work with the auto rain sensing function.

I have a 2012 US Citadel with factory HID. The dealer enabled DRL, but it threw errors. They indicated it could not be done, so turned it back off. Some on a forum speculated that it also needed relays, but nobody could say they had successfully done it. Consensus finally was that US HID Durango could not have DRL. I'd love someone that has done it prove me wrong and tell me how.
