Ok I tried pulling it down and it feels like magnets is what holds it to the roof but what is holding it to the headliner itself? I can get it to detach from the roof but not the headliner.

Yes, youre correct the rear has some magnets holding it up but also two plugs at the most rear under cover panel between headliner and hatch.

Ok so how does it remove from the headliner? I must be missing something as pulling on it won't break it free.
