Slipped out to the garage and pulled the driver side rear muffler loose on the wifes D RT to check out the sound. Compared to the other side, it definitely has a nice growl to it. Guess i'll pick up some 2.25 pipe and fab me a flange for one side to bolt on and either a couple 3 more for the other side or just have the new pipe flared to slip on passenger side. Thinkin about using flanges so I could bolt mufflers back on for resale when she gets bored or if I have to much drone. Not sure on tips yet...... Mark

Mark,
Good tips should cost around 60-80 bucks each at 4" and pipe thats cheap. ( I like the Magnaflow, and SLP myself ), project should cost about 1/2 the price as the vendor wants. I thought I read somewhere on here the exhaust is 2.5" from the suitcase resonator back but have not climbed under to verify?

Ok, I finally got time to put this to the test. I bought 4' of 2.25 exhaust pipe, a 2.25" lap band clamp. I fabbed up a flange to weld the pipe to and bolt it to the factory flange. I just 45ed the ends and painted the pipes with high heat paint. I had the pipe expanded on the end to slip over the factory pipe on the passenger side....It all went good on the install. Sounds a little higher pitch then I expected when I rev the motor up at a standstill. Going to drive it to work in the morning to check it out. Still wondering about drone?? If it sounds good then i'll look into tips. Thanks Mark
